The Sookie Stackhouse Series is a collection of well-known bestselling stories written by author Charlaine Harris. The bestsellers in this particular series were traditionally also referred to as The Southern Vampire Mysteries and were first put in print back in 2001. The HBO aired series named True Blood is based off from the Sookie Stackhouse Series.
